Welcome
Momentum started as a pilot 2 year project running from 2006 to 2008. Momentum aims to promote and develop dance across West London's vibrant and varied dance scene, encompassing Classical Indian, Bollywood, Irish Folk, Ballet, Contemporary, Urban Street and other styles, embracing a network of schools, academies, community and youth groups, professional artists and venues.
Six London boroughs (Richmond, Brent, Harrow, Ealing, Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham) launched Momentum to consolidate all these resources and put West London dance on the map. In 2009 the partner boroughs continue to meet regularly, networking, exchanging ideas & information , and looking at ways of working together to develop dance in West London. The partnership may soon be expanding, with additional West London boroughs interested in joining the project. Check this website regularly for updates!

Brent Dance Month 2009
Brent Dance Month - so much dance you won’t know what to choose first! Brent Dance Month will be launched at Brent Respect Festival on Sunday 5 July in the Momentum Dance tent, packed full of dance and live music. Each session starts with a demonstration and then you can join in.
